About The Designer - Patrice Cotton
P. Cotton Designs had its humble beginnings in a one bedroom apartment in Atlanta Georgia. As a child, I watched my grandmother sew by hand, and I drew fashion designs. When I was 15, my grandfather bought me my first sewing machine. I was always fascinated about design and creating my own clothes. The first thing I made for myself was my 11th grade Prom Dress. Once I graduated from high school, I went on to attend Bauder College in Atlanta, majoring In Fashion Design. I enjoy what I do. My favorite part is seeing how my dance uniforms give young ladies and gentlemen confidence to express themselves. That makes my job so much more rewarding!
Our Journey Today
It has taken years of trial and error to find the perfect fabrics and accessories to make a quality uniform that not only looks great but is also functional. With the help of my head seamstress and mother, we have been able to work with dance teams, coaches, and individuals from all over the country. We also have been able to grow, and expand our custom design services with embroidery and vinyl for custom apparel. These services are not only for our teams, but companies, and individuals as well. We take pride in the fact that our customer base has an option other than the standard, cookie cutter costume designs.
